My Fenestraria aurantiaca

in #flowers6 years ago (edited)

I have Fenestraria aurantiaca recently and I have no experience in growing it.
Therefore, I found information about its cultivation on the Internet:

"The land mix for growing fenestria is made from one part of leafy ground and two parts of coarse sand.
Place the plant in a bright, sunny place.
Fenestarium is watered moderately in the summer and autumn, it is not watered at all in the winter, only the soil is sprayed in the spring.
Grow a plant with low humidity.
In winter, fenestria is kept at a temperature of eight to ten degrees Celsius.
In summer, the plant remains indoors.
Fenestria is fed no more than once a month with a weak solution of flower fertilizers (the concentration is halved).
Trimming is not needed.
They transplant the plant every three years, during transplantation it is impossible to damage the roots and to deepen the root neck. "

If anyone has additional tips on growing it, I will be glad.

The flower, which has already faded, is visible in the photo.
I forgot to take photos when it was blooming.
So now until the next flowering :-)))

My advice is to water it very lightly but regularly and don't let it get too hot in the sun

Thank you very much!
