This is my entry on #flowers being hosted by @petals.
Taken by my Smartphone in the flower shop in Abu Dhabi.

Pincushion flowers are low maintenance perennial plants for butterflies and garden borders.

its name from long, thin stamens that protrude from the curved upper part of the flower, making it resemble a pincushion with many pins. Depending on the variety.
