My entry for the 🌸 FLOWER POWER PHOTO CONTEST BY FLAMINGIRL 🌸
This is my 2nd submission to #flowerpower photo contest by @flamingirl. These gorgeous water lilies grew on the pond at my workplace. Go go #FlowerPower! 5 more days to go.
Day 2 (Tuesday, April 9th): Water Lilies
There is a garden in the pond, like beauty pageants they just float gracefully pleasing the eyes. Once in a while, they move in such a poise manner when the puff of wind blows or when the water waves, like dancers whose beauty moves in motion gracefully. For decades the water lily (Nymphaea) has been casting spells to humans, enchanting, captivating and mesmerizing. The beauty ascends from the bottom of the water rise gracefully, flawless blooms of beauty in tranquility. The flowers rise side by side in a charming manner that attracts buzzing friends like bees and dragonflies that will be visiting these gorgeous beauties making it a perfect photos that are awesomely picturesque. While water lilies may seem fragile, these blossoms are tough and excellent in various weather conditions. Water lilies can grow well in any weather. Tropical water lilies bloom in exotic colors and have bigger flowers. Under the moonlight, the flowers are vibrantly shining in electric colors.
Here's my Haiku for this exotic flowers that grow garden in the pond.

About Water Lilies Source
Water Lilies (Nymphaeaceae) is a family of flowering plants that live as rhizomatous aquatic herbs in temperate and tropical climates around the world. The family contains five genera with about 70 known species. Water lilies are rooted in soil in bodies of water, with leaves and flowers floating on or emergent from the surface. The leaves are round, with a radial notch in Nymphaea and Nuphar, but fully circular in Victoria and Euryale. Source
