Blooms my Hippiastrum
Hippeastrum is a perennial bulbous plant of the Amaryllis family.
It has about 80 species and is distributed Hippeastrum in the tropical part of South America.
Hippeastrum has a large bulb, spherical.
Inside the adult bulb several inflorescences can develop simultaneously.
inflorescences are laid every four leaves, so by the number of leaves on the plant, you can determine how many flower stalks will have next year.
With proper care for Hippeastrum during its growth, it will have more leaves.
And, the more leaves, the more inflorescences it has formed.
On one peduncle Hippeastrum formed from 2 to 6 flowers, collected in an umbrella.
Very beautiful mini-Hippeastrum, about 20 cm. tall, with small flowers.
If properly care for the Hippeastrum bulb, it can bloom for 10-15 years, maybe more.
Hippeastrum plant loves sunshine.
And he certainly needs the sun's rays at the time of the appearance of the flower arrow.
What a pretty, big flower! Well done :)
