Protea - South African National Flower

Named after a Greek god "Proteus" because he could change his form, just like these beautiful South African flowers have a wide variety of forms.
The King Protea (the largerst of the species that is our National Flower) can be found in parts of the Western Cape.
Our national flower means Change and Hope and even our Cricket Team call themselves The Proteas.
