Frangipani flower, Bunga Kamboja
You can find many Frangipani flower in many places all around southeast Asia, and mostly you find the flower grown in public place or religious place or cemetery. It is hard to find the flowers grown in an individual house. In Cambodia, there is superstition that if they grow the flower at home, there will an evil spirit will come to stay in the house, it was why we cannot find that at individual house, but in the pagoda or public park or cemetery.
The flower is caller Pka Champa in Cambodia, while it is called Bunga Kamboja in Bahasa Indonesian; and the term Kamboja in Indonesian mean Cambodia :D But actually, the flowers has no relation with Cambodia, since it is native to Latin America, and maybe brought to Southeast Asia by Spanish or Portuguese. Frangipani is the national flower of Laos, a landlocked country in between Thailand and Vietnam.
We got a lot of this flower in Cambodia, they are very beautiful. 100% upvoted from @chanthasam
