Bullet-wood Tree-বকুল ফুল

Bakul (scientific name: Mimusops elengi) is a flower of Minasops species. These trees are found in India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Burma, Indo-China, Thailand, Andaman Islands, in the coastal areas of Asia and Pacific. However, these trees are cultivated in Malaysia, Solomon Islands, New Caledonia (France), Vanuatu, and North Australia. [1]

This tree is known for Bangul flowers in Bengal. Other uses of Bakul are not much in Bengali. This is a familiar flower. Its trees are found almost everywhere in Bangladesh. In order to get shade in the garden, bakul trees are usually planted.
