✿ Oxeye Daisy ✿
Scientific Name: Chrysanthemum leucanthemum
Daisy are not only beautiful but are used as food and in tea!! Some people batter them and deep fry them,calling them Daisy Fritters!!!
Super cute, I will have to try it before the season is over!
Daisy has anti-inflammatory and mild astringent properties and has been used internally, in tea form, as herbal remedy for the common cold, bronchitis and other inflammation of the upper respiratory tract.
You can hang dry these flowers in a dark dry area, store them in an airtight container after they have completly dried, you will know its time when the stem snaps and breaks easily.
