Great story, I could feel your emotions the whole way through. I completely understand that feeling of impatience and uneasiness in the beginning of a festival. SO much energy flowing around everywhere, so much to do and see, and the desire to stay with your friends! I totally get it. Happy to hear you left the situation with some lessons learned.
