Blockchain to facilitate flat consumption tax

I want to propose a radical idea here and get some feedback. Through Blockchain the ledger can easily to collect, distribute and track taxes collected at the time of consumption. These taxes would be easily monitored as even the smallest Penny can be allocated to the direction it was meant to be allocated in.

So then through the Blockchain we can move our boondoggle of a tax system to a simple, efficient consumption based flat tax.
