5 Reasons Why I Honestly Believe the Earth is Actually Flat (I didn't believe it until 3 months ago)

in #flat8 years ago

Okay, probably you guys are thinking ''this guy can't be serious, he's just seeking attention''... Well, understandable. I was thinking the same way before I saw my first documentary on the subject, and it took me some time to fully realise that the heliocentric model really makes no sense whatsoever when you face it with a critical mind.

Before showing you why I am now a flat earther, you need to understand this quote by Mark Twain:

If you simply think that is IMPOSSIBLE the earth to be flat, because all the people you have ever met in your personal life believe in the sphere, then this post is not for you. That way no matter how much evidence I show you you will simply dismiss the information as an act of willful ignorance. Now let's get started.

1. NASA footage of Earth is CGI (Computer Generated Images)

The world number 1 source of footage of space comes from NASA and other government space agencies. Their videos and images are constantly propagated in mainstream media all around the world showing the scientific triumphs of humanity, and, of course, ensuring you that the tax money you paid to them is being spent in what they tell you. (are you poor, hungry? well, you don't need to worry, the government has numerous satellites of billions of dollars in orbit only for the purpose of uplifting mankind).

But if you take a closer look on their photos this is what you see:

Clouds duplicated on Photoshop. Of course, this is just the most obvious evidence that you can immediately find in many official NASA ''photos'', if you're experienced in raster graphics editor softwares I'm sure you can spot other countless inconsistencies.

2. It does not matter the altitude, the horizon is always plan

This is a polemic one. Many people THINK they saw the real curvature or the globe because they watched some Hollywood movie trickery or, the most common one, they saw it on some video with cameras in very high altitude, like this one:

So, I will be the one who introduce you to the fisheye lens... This is the kind of camera that many of these videos use.

You're not seeing the curvature of the earth, you're seeing the curvature of the camera. And you can even see that even when he's still very close to the ground (0:32) the horizon already has a huge curve, which even in the globe model you shouldn't be able to see in this altitude. Notice that when the door opens at 0:46, when he's in the highest altitude, ready for the jump, the horizon is straight as a ruler, because the camera inside balloon is not fisheye.

Now go search for videos in high altitude that uses straight cameras, you can be sure that in none of them you'll see the curvature of the earth, no matter the altitude.

3. The mathematics of the sphere does not match reality

If we follow the ball model , accepting that the Earth has a 3963 miles radius , we can create a formula for calculating how many inches of slope there would be per mile. I will not go into technical details here for the sake of the post, but you can find the accepted formula in math forums on the internet. The problem is that there is numerous examples of islands that can be seen from about 65 miles of distance and more (if you have a good camera and a clear day) that you shouldn't be able to see using the accepted math formula, because they would be hundreds and hundreds of feet below the horizon. Like the Chicago Skyline from Michigan.

Of course you can't see the bottom of the buildings because there are waves in the water, but with the accepted math you shouldn't be able to see these buildings at all at this distance... and another question, why the buildings aren't inclined? It should be able to see the buildings bending according to the increasing distance, but I've never saw an photo that this happens.

4. Boats do not disappear over the horizon because of the curvature. Its is called perspective.

One of the first arguments ball earthers use trying to debunk flat earth is ''why do you think boats disappear over the horizon?? It's the curvature!''... No, it isn't. Your eyes can not see infinite distances, check out:

This is just how your vision works, the term is ''vanishing point''. Objects seems to disappear over flat horizons, but if you have a good enough camera you can just zoom it and then it will reappear in vision. Duh.

5. What do you trust more: authorities figures or your own senses?

I want to make this one simple. Just use your common sense. They say the Earth is moving at 30km/s around the sun. Do you feel it? What do your senses says? We are moving around the Sun or the Sun is moving around us? Forget everything you learned in government indoctrination camps we call ''schools'', your OWNERS don't want you informed, they want obedient slaves. It's time to stand up and question them, It's time to develop real courage and take our power back. Be honest with yourself, face the facts.

There is still a lot of unanswered questions on the flat earth subject, the difference is that WE are responsible to research and discover where do we live and what is our purpose, we shouldn't wait for some self declared ''ambassador of reason'' teach us everything we need to know about reality. Get over it. Grow up.

Feel free to comment what you think or make some contribution.

In my opinion, Eric Dubay does the best job of presenting the accurate facts behind the realistic flat earth model. He just put up a 6-hour amazing documentary on Flat Earth that everyone should at least listen to with an open mind.
