Flat earth.....What???
I going to be putting down my thoughts on things I see on this web site and you tube. So here what I saw today. A video on flat earth. Here a question for the flat earth believes:
Well I will have to ask this question again on another of these flat earth videos. During world war one and world war two the battleships had to send up spotter planes to see over the horizon since the battleship were unable to see over the horizon. Please explain why they did this?
Japanese had some of the best optics in the world back than and even now the still do. Those optics were put into a devise call binoculars and they used them back than, both sides did. But when you have a curvature of a planet stopping you from seeing that far. You put a plane in the air to help you see. The longest range of a battleship was about 25 miles or a little less FYI.
If the earth was flat then you should be able to see the Himalayas with a powerful telescope, limited only by cloud cover.
If the earth was flat then there would have to be a plane route that looks close on a globe but is really 20,000 miles by plane. No such route exists.
