We do have free will, don't we? Entire political, economic, and judicial systems are based on this principle. Yet, scientists have demonstrated that we make certain decisions at a pre-conscious level. What if all our decisions are based on some low level neural process, and not on the assertive certainties of a selfish ego? Not on logic. Not on reason. Just an impulse.
