RE: Caverns; From "Ragnarok Conspiracy"; Parth Three Chapter Seven

Your introduction of the Hylobo-Sapiens as a race and species leaves me with some questions due to inconsistencies as to how you refer to single and multiple members of the species.

  • Is a single member of this race referred to as a Hylo or a Hylobo?
  • Is the plural form supposed to be Hylo, or Hylos, or Hylobo, or Hylobos?

Regardless of the correct singular and plural forms, I do believe that the use of the term Hylobo's is incorrect -- this implies a possessive word in a place where I think you're referring to multiple members of the species. I'm going to refer you to this Writer's Web page for more details.

The base idea was that there is an obscured branch in the below family tree below Hylobatidae where similar to "Homo Sapiens" in relation to the Orangutan there is a "Hylobo Sapiens" in relation to the Gibbon, that went subterranean at the beginning of the last ice age.

Guess If I could figure out what the singular and plural for Homo Sapiens is, Hylobo Sapiens singular and plural should flow from it.

Very interesting. So we have "human" and "humans" for Homo Sapiens, and I have no clue how the word "human" got derived from Homo Sapiens. So with Hylobo Sapiens, it's your creation, and therefore your choice as to what the common name of the single and plural forms should be.
