Blamers And Havers

Job was a man who had lived in great affluence because he was richly blessed of God. But imagine the terrible words he said with his own mouth when he got into serious trouble!
This is just like some folks; when they face a little challenge, they forget so quickly all the good things God has done for them. Not only do they wallow in self-pity, they also love to be pitied by everybody.
This is the attitude of the blamer in full manifestation. He loves to be pitied. He goes to people that will sympathize with him and feel sorry for him. He doesn't have intimate relationship with God. He doesn't have a prayer life, neither is he consistent in church.

He is only for the fair weather, so his life is always up and down and trying to be revived. On the other hand, the haver is a man of faith; he is the man with a righteous heart fixed on God and trusting in Him. He doesn't accept defeat and doesn't want to hear that it didn't work. He doesn't give consideration to anything aside God's Word.

He lives a consistent and persistent life and always has a confession on his lips.

Notice the blamer also confesses, but he speaks the wrong things. Job opened his mouth and cursed his day. The haver opens his mouth to bless his day. He is awakened to what God's Word says and doesn't give up until he sees it manifested in his life.

Hebrews 10:23 charges us to hold fast unto the profession of our faith without wavering, because He is faithful that promised.

The profession of our faith requires that we control our mouths.

This is why faith that possesses does not speak carelessly. Child of God, no matter what the case may be, let the life you live be the life of faith, the life of the haver and not the blamer.

I don't think job is a good example of a blamer. He was a man of great Faith and reverence for God. Imagine losing all your children and possessions in split moments and also being afflicted with a seriously painful disease. Yet in all that, he maintained his stance in God. He's truly a man of great trust in God and reverence for him

I understand the stand point of human and having lost so so much. It was too much for anyone to bear.

He did massively well but fail God's test having had to ask questions and said things are inconsistence with God's word.

This is the only reason he is a blamer and a haver. He is qualified to be both.

Thank you for pointing out that part of the story. God bless you.
