FLAMINGHELPERS CHALLANGE: THE PARABLE OF JESUS THAT TOUCHES ME

Hello everyone, welcome to my blog as i take part in the @flaminghelpers challenge. The contest encourages us to medidate in the word of God, and on the particular contest, it states that we should pick the parable of Jesus that touch us the most and the lessons learnt.

The parable of Jesus that touch me the most is the parable of the prodigal son in luke 15:11-32.

The parable touches me the most because it is all about salvation which is the main reason why Jesus came to this world. Once a christian thinks Jesus,such person thinks salvation and also teaches us about the love of our Father who art in heaven.

And as christians this should be one of our major focus i.e to raise up for the salvation of others.

The following are the lesson i learnt from the parable:

1. Man can never be knowledgeable as God to know the season or time he deserves something, when we ask for a thing and it is not forth coming that means God knows its not yet time for us to have it.

2. We should not ask or pray for the right thing at the wrong time.

3. Once you leave the presence of God or you dnt have the spirit of God you can be enslaved.

4. Once you dont know your worth, such person can be ridiculed.

5. We should always think very well before taking decisions, because some decisions may end our lifes.

6. We should be prudent in spending.

7. There are some friends who stick around because of benefits, be very careful of them.

8. We should always have a repenting mind when we know or we are told we have done something wrong.

9. Always confess your sins to God because that is the first stage of repentance.

10. This point keep ponding in my heart which is God is always looking out for us, he is standing to always welcome us and give us the best life only if we can always go to him.

11. In time of celebration, your best friend can be sober inside his spirit, dnt expect everyone to be happy with your success.

12. There is great joy over a sinner that repents.

13. Its a reninder that heaven is real.

This are the points i have been able to derive from the passage.
