Hey I enjoy porn as much as the next pervert, but I do not like children being exposed to porn and I agree that the #NSFW tag is an important courtesy.
So I agree with you, but I've also been on sites, like Tribe that did go the porn route, and I can assure you that perverts are like any other group. There are very intelligent people and mouth breathers alike. The porn stayed where the porn was and it was not easily accessible. Largely, this was the sex positive crowd out of the San Francisco Bay Area, that got it heading that direction.
So then, Tribe got nervous. Did not want to be another porn venue when they had BIG plans to unseat facebook. Well guess what? They shut down all the porn and overnight the site lost most of it's user-base. C'est la vie.
Maybe if we weren't so uptight about sex, a completely natural thing, and people who enjoy exploring their sexuality, alone or with others - it wouldn't be such a big deal. I don't know. I do know that puritans can kiss my big red ass! Go ahead and be a puritan - just, please, keep it to yourself ...
