I don't advocate ignoring harm, evil, or bullies. I just act according to my personal standards when I address the issues, no matter what source they come from. I can curse like a sailor, but I don't think that will generate understanding. In the end, either we work towards the world we want to achieve, or we add our efforts to those making it worse. I can't speak for you, and can only be an example by actually being that example.

Nietzsche had a great quote, something along the lines of 'be careful when you gaze into the abyss, for the abyss also stares into you.' and something about fighting against monsters makes you become a monster. I think monsters can be defeated by good people.

That's all I'm trying to do myself. You will do that your own way.
