I started second week of the cycle(Day 8). Weights getting heavier and slowly increasing volume,frequency and intensity(by the plan).

@steemmatt This your stuff, isn't? Not very comfortable bar to workout.But I made you a video.Let's call it ez-bar Thursters.Give a try 10x10. Would be 100 reps.If it easy go for 5x20.Video.
And by your requirements exercise for your grip.If it's easy, tape two plates together. You will learn how to swing as well( hips power). Post a video, it would very interesting to see. Have fun!

Those thrusters are awesome. Never done them before, but after all of these reps with my bar, I should be ready for them. Those are reps I would really enjoy for the full body element. 10x10 is also a good target since I sometimes do sets of 25 and it burns me out faster. I'll try tonight.

I'll see how I can safely do that second exercise. I might have to try it with 10lbs because my 25 pound plates aren't easy to grip (large rubber border). I also might have to try it standing on my bed because if I drop a plate on my wooden floor, my neighbors would have heart attacks. Not sure if I can pull those off unless I'm on a rubber gym floor.
