Here I show you why FITT is Your Main Exercise and Training Principle

Every effective exercise and training program follow basic principles that allow you to stay fit. You may not realize, but the basic principles behind exercise and fitness are always there… So learning and applying them in your own fitness program will help you be way more effective and show you the results that you want based on your fitness goals

The effectiveness of the exercise program that you follow would depend on certain factors. How you apply fitness principles in your exercise routine will help determine how fast you can lose weight, increase your endurance, gain muscle or increase athletic performance.

Behold The FITT Principle! The 4 Fitness Pillars that you need to consider to create your own fitness program.

Frequency: This means how often you exercise. The frequency will allow you to develop an exercise regimen that you can go into for a certain period on, let us say, a weekly basis. If you plan to work out for two days in a week, you can speed up getting results by adding another day of exercise for the week.

Intensity: This is basically your level of fitness and your ability to perform the physical activity of your exercise program. How hard you push yourself on each exercise session is also a factor in the effectiveness of your program. For example, changing between sets of jogging running and walking on one session would have different results, also doing more running rather than short set of walking or jogging would certainly have a different result from walking through each session most of the time.

Type: This is the type of exercise included in your program. There are different types of exercises to choose from with each type being able to build up a different part of the body better or more efficiently than the other. Your knowledge of these types of exercises will help you develop a routine that can be focused on improving target muscle groups.

Time: This of course is the time that you spend doing the exercises. How long you stay in doing each training session will ultimately determine how fast or how slow that you get results. You may also be required to determine the duration of the exercise program along with the other exercise variables in order to either avoid injury or improve results.

These fitness principles can be used in developing your exercise program that would allow you for better performance as well as results. You may be able to start using the different fitness principles in a way that you feel comfortable with.

Furthermore, in your fitness development, you can change any or all of these variables to either increase the efficiency as well as to reach the target results. These principles can also be used ideally just to make the exercise program even more interesting once they start to become too routine.

The FITT principle is the Main Fitness Principle to follow for any Program Routine!
