Ran 10k in 47.32 tonight
I actually ended up running 10.6K in 48.22, but when i do a rough calculation i get 47.32 for 10k give or take a few seconds. I feel i could have done 11k in under 50 minutes tonight.
Put your tongue away son no one needs to see that!!
Losing the 12kg i have in the past three months is helping on all fronts, we played 5 on 5 full court @ basketball practice on Tuesday night and i was like a energizer bunny!!
Played basketball last night and we won 90 - 62, i manged to get 15 points and i was thinking tonight after the previous two nights to have sore- ish legs but i felt great and still do
Its been a great week and we have had beautiful sunny weather here, Summer is going to be a cracker!!
This is me @kiwiscanfly
Going well.
That speed is coming along nicely. ;-)
I did my 10km circuit last night also and was surprised at how fast I did it. I'm still in recovery mode so not pushing the pace at all. I nearly hit my PR time without even trying.
That's what a good long run will do for you. :-)
Try going out for 20kms really slow over the weekend and then see how fast you can go next week. You should see a good jump in your speed.
And........... I've found another 60km ultra in Wellington you might want to think about (go on, you know you want to)
It has one small hill at the start and then the rest is all downhill to the finish. At the speed you're going you'll be finished before I even get to the top heheh
Just don't push it brotha! Nice you losing weight but be careful, eat that meat! :P
your rocking it man,
keep up the good work!!
Good job man! Kick ass!
Thank you - have a super steemit day
@kiwiscanfly,
11Km in 50 minutes! That would be a great performance dude! Hope you will make it next time!
Cheers~
Thanks man
I'm not sure you fly or not, but you run like an ostrich!
haha thanks man - have a super day
You too! :)
Good ruining you big ostrich!
i actually want a big bird mascot costume
Who doesn't?
This looks pretty cool too:
Probably we'll see you in the next Olympic Games 😂 😂 😂 stay strong and healthy bro
more like the senior old fella Olympics - thanks for the encouragement
You're welcome champion
Watch out, the ultra bug will bite, Trevor started out with a run to increase health and lose a spare tyre, now look at him.
oh frig i better stop
Just be ultra cautious, say no if you get invited to some strange place,or worse, while you are running you begin to feel good and start thinking ' how far can I go'
Your face showing you was very tired, but you have young boy`s effects.
Go ahead man, you can finish your target. Hurry up...
yeah tired after that but feel great as well :)
