Hey, Good stuff. I started out running with a couch to five app too. I run a standard 5K every other night now. Interval training that the app uses is perfect and really does work. Once you get to the 5K, and beyond it's still applicable. When you reach the 5K point and can run that consistently then you will be able to continue on to longer distances. You'll start to get a feel for your cadence and pace along with your energy and be able to push further. Keep pushing yourself and enjoy the runs.
