Day 28 of 80 Day Obsession Workout Program

Well, Day 28 in the books, which was Cardio Core. Another hard one, but I kinda like the hard work. Today was a cardio day, and it was tough as you see in gifs below. Cardio is my biggest weakness but I am pushing through! Even though some days I am like ugh, what doesn’t kill me makes me stronger and hope that stays true because I feel like I am gonna die on a cardio day!

High Knees Still Hard In Phase 2

I had high knees and when I first did these, they were so hard. They’re not as difficult now, but still pretty tough. Had these in Phase one, so I feel phase one helped me to get better at this move!


Twisting Jump Rope= New challenge

This was so hard and very challenging. At first, I thought to myself,I got this and only after 10 seconds did I start to doubt myself. You definitely feel this move. If you’re like me, you will be glad when this move is over! You can totally tell this is a cardio move for sure.


My Final Thoughts On Cardio Core And Thoughts On The Sliders

Cardio Core is the “easier version” of the cardio days. You do 30 seconds of a low-intensity move. The next move is like a twisty jump rope or high knees. Each round is three minutes total including core moves done with a slider You do this for seven rounds. First round is core moves all together after you finish all of your cardio rounds. Cardio was pretty brutal, but I did better today. I can feel my cardio is improving, not a lot, but some. Any progress on cardio I’ll take since it’s my weakest point. Phase 1: definitely helped me improve my cardio! It surprised me that I made it through the cardio day that well.

I used to do workouts where I don't have to use anything other than my body. I think that by starting with that will give me confidence in moving on to the use of equipment.

I don't do cardio really at all. I am trying to get back into weight lifting and doing heavy (for me) lifting 2-3 times a week currently. I am also wanting to add in flexibility work again, because I know it does my body good (but I haaate it because I get so bored with it, unless I'm teaching it.)
