Run Like It's Your Birthday
This year I turned 40 on August 5th!! Unbelievable!
My husband is from Michigan and we decided to spend our (we were born 5 days apart) birthdays there this year. Since my birthday fell on a Saturday this year I knew I wanted to participate in a race and found one close by his home town.
Marine City, Michigan is where the closest race was. It was right on the water!
I've been pushing to get back down to my PR 5k time. This time I was only 30 seconds off and placed FIRST in my new age group!
Flat and Fast is the best way to describe the course!!!
