I love Martial Arts and practised Taekwondo for many years and I think it is It is really cool that you practise Wushu for yourself. :)

The real clincher in all Martial Arts for me undoubtedly is the mental training of the mind. Physically arranged techniques are great but they bring us only so far when our mental capacity is overtaxed with fear or indecisiveness.

By turning from thinking to mental Silence, our body's movement will arise from a state of unconditioned creativity, for in mental Silence we find the the power of Intention, which roots in our subconscious. So when we channel this Intention and defeat our Ego thinking, the entire power lies in our Intention, which will then direct our body to naturally take the right decision to fend off any attack!

Many people learn Martial Arts but the body is at the effect of the mind, so it is important to train the mind (=source), otherwise we potentially fall victim to it ;)
