Stay fit while you travel

I struggle with weight issues every time i travel. If my travel includes a lot of work then I am better of but if it is luxury travel my weight shoots up. Now if we have put a lot of effort in being fit and if a tour is of a month it should not ruin our fitness. So what should we do during our travel so that we stay fit
Thing that we should take care of while travelling to stay fit

Check the facilities in your hotel

While travelling for leisure or for business we must see that there is a gym inside the hotel. Not necessarily a big gym but at least with few gym equipment so that we can do a constant work out in the free time

See the Surroundings of the hotel

If the budget concerns you then you should explorer the surroundings of you hotel if any park is nearby so, that you can go for a jogging. There is nothing better than exploring new cities

Keep track of the water you consume.

It is very important to stay hydrated while on travel. Drinking more water will avoid you from feeling exhausted and more intake of water boost metabolism. Always have a habit of carrying water bottle. If you can't carry water bottle alternate sources of water like Juice, coconut water should be taken

The most vital thing - THE FOOD

Its ok to cheat on your diet, it's not a crime but do not let the hard work go down the drain for few days. Not much but small things can change a lot. Like have multi grain bread instead of white bread in your sandwich, instead of soft drink go for jucies and picking more vegetables and fruits in the break fast.

Carry few things that can help you out

Carrying yoga mats, skipping ropes and other small thing can help you out to stay fit in places where you don't have gym facilities.

Explorer the city on foot

The magical way to stay fit, try to explorer most of the places on foot. When exploring the city on foot you will discover the heart of the city better than any other way plus the mileage you get on your step count will be enough for your cardio for the day without even realising it. Average of 12,000 to 20,000 steps a day will keep you a way fit than anything else

Food is key for me when I travel. I know it's tough because when people travel they want to make the most of their time and they will stray away from their diet and good eating for awhile. Also people will like to try foods that are unique to their destination - it's okay to have in moderation but always try to squeeze in fruits and veggies in there as well.

Traveling can be ruff when you change time zones frequently.
