My Workout Dairy: 4 Feb 2019

Always experimenting...

So it's almost been a week and the 'rehab' experiment is on-going.

One thing I like to do when working out is experiment with new ideas. Not only does it keep the body guessing, it keeps things interesting.

I like the way the body adapts. For example, I'm currently telling myself that whether I like it or not I'm going to hit the gym and push some weights. All of a sudden the soreness that I would have felt if I'd given myself rest days is gone. My body is adapting and realising that it needs to get it's recovery quicker and during the day.

Working out every day is no different (perhaps even easier) than having a manual labour job. The kind of work human beings have always had. So no big deal really. The challenge is really in the mind!
