Un gioco online 'segue' gli inquinanti nell'atmosfera Progettato grazie alla teoria del caos
Un gioco online permette di prevedere i percorsi delle particelle inquinanti e delle ceneri vulcaniche nell'atmosfera per capire quanto sopravvivono prima di cadere al suolo. Si chiama RePLaT-Chaos ed è descritto sulla rivista Chaos dalla ricercatrice ungherese Tmea Haszpra, dell'universita' Lornd Etvs, cheutilizzando la teoria matenatica del caos ha messo a punto le mappe che prevedono le traiettorie delle particelle. Il gioco online è l'aspetto curioso della ricerca, ma lo studio potrebbe aiutare a progettare particelle artificiali da disperdere nell'atmosfera per riflettere la luce del Sole e contrastare il cambiamento climatico.
