Fishing with a Bombarda.

(c)
A long time ago, somewhere in the early twentieth century, Italian fishermen, engaged in fishing for lake trout, invented a special hollow float fusiform. Float this dressed on the line through a passing through the axis of the float is a hollow tube , and for weight gain could be filled with water. On a long leash of mono fishing line that was attached to the main fishing line through the swivel, mounted lightweight trout fly. A fly to throw far without any additional shipping impossible. And the use of a liquid float-sinker is allowed to throw the snap-on 60-80 meters. This float was called "sbirulino". Snap was a killer-efficient. Trout on such a long distance without fear of pecking at a tiny fly. In the end, many wild waters in this fishing method had to introduce restrictions because the trout were just "mow" under the root.
Snap quickly gained popularity and its fame went beyond Italy. Later in the other countries of Europe the float and snap him got by now widely known name of "Bombarda".
Bombards today are produced of two types:
- hollow, with a possibility of filling water
monolith is already installed by the manufacturer weight.
Monolithic bombards have varying degrees of buoyancy ( hollow at this moment are regulated by the amount of water in the float and additional weight).
- floating ( used when fishing with or below the surface of the water)
- slow sinking
- sinking and fast sinking ( used when fishing in the middle water layers and bottom).
For fishing on the snap-in available in the special fishing rod medium action and length of 3.6-4.2 meters.
I decided not to spend money on special rods , and fishing with the snap of a conventional spinning reel with a length of 3 meters. Coil - conventional spinning, the dimension 3000 on the line of the company Shimano.
As the main line, I use a relatively thin braided cord #1 at the Japanese classification. The leash is made of fluorocarbon ( a monoscaffold , invisible in water).
Quality swivel-protivogerpetical fishing line ( aka - stopper for the bombard) in a snap a must!
As bait used fly, little spoon and small crankbaits. All these lures without bombard I could cast a maximum of 10-15 meters. With the bombard they fly 50-80 meters ( depending on the weight of the used bombard).
This snap-in is indispensable when fishing from the Bank when you want to throw a small and easy bait for a considerable distance. For example, when fishing for Chub or a perch, making a "pot" in 50-60 meters from the shore... to Carry out sensitive feed compact and lightweight bait at that distance any other way is impossible.
Sinking and slow sinking options bombard can be useful when fishing for walleye and pike in the bottom layer of water on small lures.
Floating Bombarda is very convenient to catch asp, saber fish, chub and perch.
Commercial ponds bombard remains one of the best rigs for catching trout executable.
And even on the sea shore fishing, such as when fishing for Gar, combined with bombard can be very useful!
Large expenditures for fishing with Bombarda ( in the presence of a suitable spinning reel lengths and coils) is not required. 3-4 is enough bombarde different weights (buoyancy choose according to need), a bag of vertluzhnoj and rolls of fluorocarbon of a suitable diameter (0,2-0,22 mm is suitable for almost all kinds of fish) in the unwinding of 25 meters. Going to snap directly into the pond for 3-5 minutes. Choose the bait , and you can start fishing!
