Nice catfish and my trick to find them in the fall

Here's a short video of a nice catfish I caught on my recent kayak trip. If you look closely you can recognize a persimmon tree right on the shoreline. Ripe persimmons fall in the water and attract catfish. In the fall when persimmons are ripe you can always find catfish around those trees. My regular fishing pole was already messed up. The line was twisted from the heavy fish I hooked that day. So I had to use my ultralight for this one. It made for a much better fight though. The little ultralight is by far my favorite fishing pole of all times!
