Trout Fishing using Foam Earplugs for Bait

How to fish for trout using foam earplugs for bait. I cut each of the earplugs into three pieces so they are similar in size to other baits, and I put the pieces into the container with my salmon eggs to give them some scent. On the third or fourth cast, I pulled in a nice brown trout.

    Great video and tip. Those type of earplugs can also be used as a foam body for fly fishing poppers. You need to trim and shape them a bit, but they work great for panfish and bass.
