How to make a fish trap.

For who ever love the outdoors and observing wildlife!!!..

It works really well FREE, amazing, fun activity for kids and adults who like looking for little critters. It is also a good way to catch fish. I will be posting an amphibian trap tomorrow morning and one with a video in the summer

How this trap works is when fish swim they swim straight so they swim down the walls of the top of the pale being used as a funnel and enter the trap ounce there in they can't figure out where the exit is they just turn around when they hit the top of the pale and can not swim up to the entrance.

Here is how to make a fish trap….

Step #1
Cut the top off a five gallon purified bottled water drinking pale.

Step#2
Turn the pale lid upsidedown so it makes a funnel, put it in the other half of the pale. Screw in four screws to ensure your lid is secure.

Step#3
This step is most Important you need to leave some of the pale sticking out of the water so your fish can breath, you don't want to have a bunch of dead mice and fish. Place the pale in the water either sideways or upside down. When fish swim up for air or threw the water they will swim right in your trap.
