Fish and Wild Goose Chase

Had another quick fishing session. This time I went in the evening, it's way too hot during the day and the fish aren't interested in eating when the sun's too strong so I got to the river at about 6-7pm.

It didn't take long and this little beauty showed itself. I had a chilled session, felt lazy so I just went for a float fishing session on earth worms.

Then a chub wanted to sample the air and came out.

Another perchie. I then hit a snag, lost a hook and then decided it was enough and made my way home. Nice little sweet session.

And now for the Wild Goose Chase. I didn't actually chase some geese down the meadows, it was a bit better than that. Got home and had another one of The Wild Beer Co's creations.

Clear, light straw colour. Not much of a head.

Tiny bit of funk in the aroma, gooseberry as expected and some citrus. Tastewise, not much sourness, but noticeable; lemon and gooseberry . A nice easy drink; good session beer I'd say.
