Friday Fishing: Night Trout Fishing
Hi Friends,
One of my favorite things to do is fish at night. There is something peaceful about the moon on a clear night and a quite lake on a canoe or kayak… hard to beat! Fishing generally isn’t as good at night, but I think the tradeoff for a more peaceful experience can often be worth it.
In this picture, I was fishing a lake on a canoe at night which had been stocked with trout. I was fishing a nightcrawler worm and caught this trout… check it out:
The cool thing about night fishing is that you really don’t know what you have on the other end of the line until it comes out of the water, which is another fun element to me.
