Fishing Report

Hi Friends,

My son Jacob and I got out and did a little kayak fishing on Sunday so I am giving the fishing report from the day.

We drove over to the beach and paddled around in one of the local harbors. The weather was very nice with a slight breeze. The only problem was that the nice weather brought lots of people out, so there were quite a few boaters, people fishing, kayakers, paddle boarders, etc.

We fished for about 2.5 hours and played in the sand and water for about 2 hours. We only caught two fish, one sand bass and one spotted bay bass... here they are:

Overall, not great fishing, but better than catching nothing too! Of course, the memories and time with my son are what the day was really all about so from that perspective, it was a great success!
