Kerling Fish

I want to tell you about my favorite fish, I really enjoy the meat of this fish, very delicious when it cooked with spices, the name that fish is "kerling".

Kerling fish in Indonesian is called jurung fish, in Latin called (Labeobarbus Dournesis). This fish is one of the most popular freshwater fish species in Aceh. This fish is often find in tangse area and teunom aceh jaya,

Kerling fish live only in the rivers with fresh water. Not all river in Aceh there are fish clams, so the price of kerling fish is very expensive. During this time if people want to enjoy the fish must wait for the rainy season. During the rainy season the river water overflows and the fish is very easy to catch. Current clams with sizes weighing 3-4 kg sold per kg is $ 8 to $25

For now, the fish kerling is scarce, I really hope the government or related parties to create a program of fish cultivation, so that our next generation can still see this fish.
