Well
I started my blog up last night, following the guidance of a friend who has found it to be a fruitful way to vent his personal experiences. And tap into some of the finer things in life. Admittedly, he found his fame by creating pictures of whale dicks and adlibbing funny quotes and whatnots over them.
Which really got me to thinking, hey why not me? I've got some stuff to say. Things I can share. Maybe people will even appreciate them/grow.
Many years ago, I used to dabble in many tech savvy trades and tricks. But back I'm the day day routines are now long gone and obsolete. It's been years since Windows 98 has been laid to rest. That was the bread and butter of my teenage years. Chatting on ICQ (coincidentally where I met my first love), Meeting people from all over North America on the palace chats (with the hottest fresh edited jpeg and pixelated avatars, yuppies, whathaveyous), and the sweet sweet sounds of dialup modems. Those were the days. Once it came to the time of Napster, and MSN I had about had enough of it. Metallica's lawsuit was really the icing on the cake for alot of us.
Sadly, I turned my back on that comforting glow of my tube monitor resulting to a lifetime of console gaming, flawless unadulterated teenage hoodlumery, leading into a life of questionable management successes after years of applying my secondary school senses, which cause me to make a break for freedom over the course of many years. To which I plan to go into further detail as my blog develops (stay tuned)
Moving forward, years later. I've come full circle to a point in my life where I've realized that my time in the local Linux user group is no longer that useful. How times have changed. Technology has its way of progressing. So where do I start? Spelling it out simple and plainly in all directions. Like any highly eclectic mellow fun loving well meaning and motivated person woukd, right? Exactly. By doing whatever I want.
So, I'm sure it's a steep learning curve. But I'm gonna have some fun developing my skills, and laying down some of the things that go through my head for you (my fan) to enjoy. While at the same time, potentially sparking some interest in your own self for a desire to want to learn and grow as an individual. In the least, you will learn some things about Central American culture. How posthumously despicable the societal accepted views of the areas are unfounded, and misguided. Or, maybe just how much of a (calculated) risk taker I may be at times.
Either way, I hope you will enjoy a look inside of my brain.
