Hellooo Steemit!
This is my first post and I really don't know what to write about. I found Steem while wading through all the existing cryptocurrencies and trying to find an altcoin to invest my 10 bucks into (sadly not a big investor). Steemit caught my attention! All the altcoins claim this or that and want to change something here and there, but most of them have no product ready yet, unlike steem. That's impressive! I registered immediately and got my account approved yesterday.
As I don't know what to write at the moment I am happy to answer some questions!

@nenad-ristic are there any ways to see if someone tags you or is there any notification system in place? I might write about crypto, but i can't decide if i should do it in german or english. But the market is kinda getting saturated already.
I would say go for German, As far as I know there is not way to see mentions on Steemit, but I know there are other tools that do. I use esteem on my phone, and that does show mentions.

Not sure what you mean by that? Anybody is free to create an app on the Steem blockchain
