Assalamu Alaikum everyone. Today I am going to participate in the Steemit Learning Challenge. Where our teaching topic is Empowering Life-Saving Skills: A Guide to First Response and Basic First Aid. In fact I think basic medical knowledge is necessary in our daily life. In continuation of that I will share my experience and basic education with you.

I have had many experiences in my life where I have faced emergencies. But today I will share about an emergency situation that occurred in my home a few days ago. Basically the incident happened with my younger sister. I have three cats in my house which are quite calm. But a few days ago two cats got into a fight and when my sister tried to separate the two cats, one of my sister's fingers was damaged by a cat's claw and immediately started bleeding from the injured area.
In such a situation, I first bring the box of First Aid in my house and take out cotton from there and soak the cotton in antiseptic liquid soap and clean the wound very quickly. Then take out Savlon ointment from the box of First Aid box and put it on the wound and bandage it. Through this, the bleeding from the wound is immediately stopped. Although we vaccinate my house cats on time but still later that evening we went to the hospital and consulted the doctor to get my sister vaccinated for the said wound.
This is not my first experience but that day I stopped the bleeding from my sisters wound with first aid from my home and used antiseptic liquid to prevent germs from sticking to the wound which are part of first aid.
If a motorcyclist faints in a road accident and his leg continues to bleed, I would go to the unconscious person first. First of all, I will raise his feet and tie them with a clean cloth-handkerchief. One thing I would be aware of in this case is that the man's feet should be higher than his heart. In this case, blood loss from the injured person's body will be less.
On the other hand, since the person will be in an unconscious state, I will first remove the crowd from the unconscious person and provide free air and loosen the clothes worn on the body. Then I will take care that the patient's teeth do not stick, so that the handkerchief is fried and put between the two teeth and I will splash water in the eyes and mouth. Then I will massage the palms of my hands and feet and then seek medical attention as soon as possible. In this case, I think the initial injured or unconscious person will recover quickly.
I have created a flowchart of the DRABC protocol as I understand it. I have tried to write the details in the attached flowchart to get a better idea about the protocol. Below I present the DRABC protocol using the Canva Pro app:
I have presented on a paper 10 emergency service hotlines or helpline numbers of my country and region.
