DONATIONS NEEDED FOR THE FIRE VICTIMS IN LAPU-LAPU CITY - CEBU, PHILIPPINES
SHOUTOUT TO ALL WHALES AND STEEMIT FRIENDS!
Lapu-lapu City was hit by fire on Friday, March 16, 2018 and around 300 houses were put to ashes leaving all families devastated and homeless. The firefighters did their best to stop the fire, but since the houses were made of light materials only , the fire spread so fast that the locals simply got some belongings on hand and ran for their lives.
The sad news is two children who were reported as missing lost their lives in this fire...sad thing is their mother confirmed their identities. This is not only devastating to that family but it is disastrous for losing family members especially to think that they were trapped and nobody could helped them to get out of that fire.
We wanted to help the fire victims, and so I am appealing to everyone for whatever assistance we could give in terms of cash, SBD, STEEM, Goods, clothings, and others would surely be most appreciated and would make a great impact to the lives of the victims knowing they are not alone in this catastrophe.
My steemit community @steemitpowerupph with group coordinators @ankarlie and @fycee and the FB Group Crypto Enthusiasts led by @otom , steemian in Cebu City coordinator @sorenkierkegaard and our members are all trying our best to collaborate with the local steemit users in Cebu City, Philippines. Our members contributed funds which we sent to the victims this morning. A lot more will follow with their donations.
When @fycee asked if we could help, we started a campaign within our communities this morning ...and so I am blogging this now and making this SHOUTOUT to please ask you fellow Steemians to suppport us with your donations. Any amount in SBD or STEEM will help every poor family who have been combating poverty and who lost everything what they have been striving for.

Thank you for asking the EXIF Data of the photos. These photos were passed- on to us by various fire victims who took the shots and therefore, most EXIF Data are lost along the way... Can you please tell me why you wanted the Exif Data? The fire is real anyways.
Our school maam, Babag National High School have already imparted a small amount coming from teachers and students. I have ask the assistance of the SSG "Supreme Student Government" and we were able to collect a little share to help the fire victims in our city. Thank you so much maam for caring and sharing!
