Pajulahti Photos
Pajulahti is a sports institute in Nastola to the east of Lahti. I had to drive to Nastola to pick up some papers. I decided to quickly drop by at Pajulahti and take a few photos.
Lake Iso-Kukkanen
Luckily, it was completely calm.
The sports institute is on the high ground across the water.
There is a playground. Some of the other previous photos were taken on the rocky little cape on the extreme right.
Beautiful images!
I'm impressed with the sharpness, the intensity of the colors and the mirror effect of the water!
Pure excellence!
wow @markkujantunen your portfolio of photos is increasingly amazing, Finland is definitely the land of the lakes, maybe it's luck or it will be very good eye and planning but you get some really cool photos that look like mirrors.
I was lucky in that it happened to be so calm today. I've been trying to learn composition lately. I want to study that first before buying a DSLR camera. With a proper camera, you can more easily switch lenses and control things like cell light sensitivity, shutter speed and aperture.
Hey friend I do not want to sound obvious and much less spam but "These images look great"... A Natural mirror that lake, but HUGE !!! Buen Dia Amigo!..
Thanks! I would never take a comment like that for spam from a regular whom I know.
I thank you for that comrade!!
You say it is a sports institute. What sort of things happen there? Is it like medical studies and that sort of thing. Beautiful setting.
Many kinds of courses for competitive athletes both professional and amateur. It's got accommodation for athletes taking part in training camps and courses there as well as for tourists. There is an ice hall, an indoor swimming pool, a sports field, tennis courts, a couple of sports halls for ball games and so on and so forth.
This looks dreamy, omg look at the reflection of sky in that lake. No wonder it was so calm that it captured a perfect mirror on it! Beautiful photography @markkujantunen
The second photo is really fantastic!
Thanks! I did realize afterwards that it should've been horizontally symmetrical for maximum effect. I'll try to remember that.
I'm in love with all water reflections in the world. Whether it's just a puddle reflection or a huge lake :O
You should move to Finland because there are many puddles here since it rains so often.
I think he lives in place with a pretty similar climate already.
After a quick Google search it turned out that I was in Pajulahti for 5 days few years ago. I knew that the name sounded familiar.
WTF? Siis asutko sinäkin Lahessa? Monta Lahtelaista täällä on oikein? Pitäskö perustaa Lahti steemit ryhmä :'D
Joo, Lahdessa asun.
Beautiful photography sir
