Lahti Harbour
When I was picking up my daughter from school, she and a friend of hers wanted to go down to the harbour. Because the weather was nice we all dropped by and I bought everyone an ice cream. The friend's grandparents own a boat and the girls went to see it. My daughter's friend gave us a brief tour of the boat. We were only on the deck, not the inside. Took a few photos.
Not that boat. This is owned by a company that offers lake cruises.
One of the platforms
This boat has a weird name. Rasva = fat, vanki = prisoner. Rasvanki = fat prisoner?
The boat owned by my daughter's friend's grandparents.
On the deck.
Sibelius Hall. It's a concert hall built in the year 2000.
I really liked the boat of the first photo friend Markku, although the corridors are very small but maybe it is an attraction more because it is curious. Rasva-vanki can be someone who works or likes toad fat (I saw that in an anime that I like very much 😅😅).
That good friend @MarkkuJantunen. sure one of these days invite you to navigate,
Hi Markku. Good story and nice photos.
That name so weird, at least here the boats almost always have a woman's name, my dad had one, smaller than that f course but he ended up selling it that was about 9 or 10 years ago, it was called Karimar. Could you find out what the girl's grandfather used that boat for? Maybe tourism or recreational fishing as it is, it looks big.
nice boat, you can always keep your daughter happy.
Not mine.
