I just got around to commenting...nice job #stever82. A fully developed story. I think you had fun with this one. But you usually do :) It was also fun to read. I like the irony: the power that destroyed earth would be the power that saves the human race. Surprise ending changes the beginning of the story (Metallic Kisses) from one of despair to one of hope.
