I love it--What if the Yellow King wants to pee :)) How did you ever think of that one.
One of my most important lessons from my teacher during my education as a consultant was to think of surprising and irritating questions to pull someone out of his pattern or present anxiety state. People who drive "comfortably" in their habitual behaving and talking pattern receive a little "shock" or become surprised by a ridiculous question. The purpose is to get the clients attention and support him to be more receptive to the process. The more ridiculous and surprising the better.
That is why I was even more appreciating Joanne K. Rowlings ideas in Harry Potter as the spell "Ridiculus!" is so catchy and made me laugh.
It's a true relief that you didn't submit the story in time. In fact, this is between the best ones and my poor vacillating mind would have surely collapsed under the weight of the decision for the reward! Btw I'm writing my own version opposite to yours, where dr. Wallace is doing exactely all the wrong (or not) steps. Did the king find a comfortable toilet in the end?

@ehr.germany I love to include the participants (also if they're really late) but yours was after I posted the winners and transferred the prizes.. at that point I can't really do anything, unfortunately. My sentence was totally a joke 😉 About the people reading, usually they focus on the ongoing week.. I can insert a link to your in the contest post for some due visibility. Re the King: I suspected that heheh! You're a brilliant writer and your endings are a great add to this contest.

Are you in Germany? We have the same timezone then, I'm in Italy.. once in a while I don't have to make equations! So keep in mind that I alw post on Wednesday evening and reward on Tuesday evening..always between 9:00 and midnight..
