Sri Mulyani Indrawati responded to the handling operation of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) against the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) employee with initials YP. According to Sri Mulyani, the OTT is a strong warning to the MoF.

Following up the OTT, Sri Mulyani decided to dismiss her employees. The move was a decisive action against the Ministry of Finance officials.

For Sri Mulyani, large salary does not mean that employees are free from the practice of bribery. According to him, salary is not related to integrity.

Sri Mulyani then asked his staff to evaluate the preparation of the State Budget (APBN). Therefore, the preparation of the state budget into a gap to commit fraud.
