PTPP - New contract
PT Pembangunan Perumahan (PTPP) has booked a new contract worth Rp 24.1 trillion by the end of August 2017, or about 59.2 percent of the total new contract target of Rp 40.6 trillion this year. The acquisition of new contracts increased by 28.6% over the same period last year of Rp 18.7 Trillion. Several new contracts obtained by PTPP in August 2017 are the construction of Pollux Stage I apartment in Batam amounting to Rp 999.5 Billion, the work of architects and ME Grand Jati Junction in Medan amounting to Rp 259 Billion, the construction of Medan Kualanamu Tebing Tinggi 7A Highway to Rp 232.7 Billion, The construction of RSUD Jayapura is Rp 139 Billion, Transmart Tajur Construction in Bogor is Rp 133.2 Billion and Transmart MX Mall in Malang is Rp 128.4 Billion. The new contract contribution until August 2017 comes from the parent company of Rp 20.7 trillion and the rest of the subsidiary entity valued at Rp 3.4 trillion.
SMGR - Acquisition plan of three companies
PT Semen Indonesia (SMGR) will soon complete the acquisition of three companies. One of them is a cement company in Bangladesh. SMGR targets the position of majority shareholder in the cement company. The company will meet the needs of cement in Bangladesh but the raw materials needed to produce cement will be imported from Indonesia. SMGR also plans to acquire two domestic building materials manufacturing companies this year.
WTON - Develop new products
PT Wijaya Karya Beton (WTON) plans to develop new products to increase market share. WTON plans to launch the first precast concrete floating dock in Indonesia on the north coast of Jakarta at the end of September 2017. The floating dock will greatly assist small fishing vessels to lean on Indonesia's coastal ports. Currently WTON has 12 types of products for various sectors including transportation, property, water and maritime sectors. Currently WIS's sales contribution to Wika Group is 24.1% and is expected to increase to 30% by the end of 2017.
