Cutting into Steem Ninja

Hey My J's,

So we all know steemit has an on boarding problem, it takes a me 3 dates to get into unlimited boob action yet it can take me 2 - 3 weeks to get a steem account.

I'm all for you know less spam and a little bit of exclusivity but in a world where instant gratification is key you need to give people option am I right? Or they won't swipe right.

The peeps at @steemonboarding - https://steemonboarding.com/ have done a great job of providing instructions and guides on what Steem is and all the aspects to get started which you can check out if you're willing to wait for your account to become active.

What the Ninja does well

Steem Ninja doesn't mess about it allows you entry and use of hte steem blockchain by forking over a little cash.

Purchase accounts

You can purchase an account for yourself or perhaps a second account for a project or seperate content you want to product, or even to reserve a handle.

Gift someone an account

You can purchase a gift voucher that you can send to anyone so they can redeem it and create an instant account for themselves.

Purchase a delegation

You can boost your ability to remain active on the blockchain by purchasing a delegation via their platform.

What the Ninja doesn't do well

Educational push

I feel steem ninja doesn't do enough to educate users on its benefits nor how it helps open a user up to the world of steemit and all the dapps you now immediately have access to.

I feel it should be integrated with initiates like steemonboarding as well as being an option on all dapps and external websites. It already has the option for a referral program for authors to help promote on boarding as well as a widget for external sites but it is not used effectively.

Perhaps a campaign to get this added to authors signatures or combining with @steempress to get it added to WordPress blogs would open up a new flow of new users.

Kicking the waiting time

Steem Ninja is a welcomed addition as a gateway to the ecosystem and will help the onboarding process for sure. It will just require additional promotion and a education drive to show people that the barrier to entry into our platform continues to lower over time.

My rating for Steem Ninja

I would give Steem Ninja a 3.5 out of 5. It's a great solution to a really big problem we have on Steemit but I think it has major room for improvement. Once it does though, it could really help open the flood gates and open Steemit up tonnes of new users.
