Don’t Fear The Crypto Sell Off, Watch The Biggest Markets & Embrace It

Did you really think crypto’s would soar when the broader markets tank? I have been expecting a crypto sell off during the next (current) stock market crash for awhile. Why?

Because it is a game of managing optics. If crypto’s never sold off post 2017 the system would have already been flipped on its head. Timing & herd mentality are very important when manipulating markets. The market makers need time to diversify power across all possible outcomes to maintain control. & they must maintain secrecy of the tea leaves to not tip their hand.

So at a time when we are seeing systemic weakness leak into the equity markets, I fully expect crypto’s to get beat up. Much like gold & silver did during the last crisis. The chart below shows gold at about 1000$ at the beginning of 2008 & fell all the way into the 700s by 2009, then skyrocketed to 1800 (for a moment) before falling into manipulation purgatory for the last half decade.

Bitcoin is patterned after gold, & while I don’t expect to see the exact same outcome repeat, I fully expect to see a lot of the same optics management. Good crypto’s will eventually be a great hedge, we just have to be patient & wait for these bigger markets to crash & herd faith becomes lost. So rejoice when we see days like today 👇

Crypto’s are taking it on the chin, big time, today & lately, but this gives me long term confidence in them due to that optic management logic. Not entirely sure I’m ready to catch the falling blade, but this selloff makes a lot of sense to me & gives me the impression that the next big crash is very close.

However, you wouldn’t know it by looking at the bond market today as it is pretty quiet.

The dollar is up, putting pressure on commodity prices, & the increasing risk of recession putting pressure on oil.

I love to see gold holding its ground on a day like today. I’m a giant gold fanboy

Don’t let the crypto sell off +risk off in equity moves get you down. Long term this is just the kind of move I expect to see with a systemic shift on the horizon.

If crypto’s were not a threat, they would not be getting pressured so hard right now.

Stay focused on the big picture, debt catches up to everyone eventually, even the dirty central banking money printers lose to math.
