Wow, an 8. I'm pretty surprised by that. Last Jedi was prettier, in my opinion, although also considerably dumber.
One of my beefs with both this and Rogue One is the new Star Wars team's ability to really get the worst out of excellent actors. Maybe it's that it came out less than a year after The Glass Castle where Woody Harrelson's performance really blew me away, but he's utterly wasted in this movie. Similarly Forest Whitaker in Rogue One. Surely if you can get these guys it would be a good idea to try to use them well.
i think it deserved less, but i have come to terms with the fact that Disney is not going to do what i want with the SW films and am just trying to base the movie on its own, rather than factoring in past feelings.
