'On postwar housing. Reel 1, slum dwellings are razed. Prefabricated houses are made in a factory and assembled. Shows panorama of a modern housing development. Reel 2 shows new homes under construction, building materials being processed, and views of a modern apartment house and a housing development.' Originally a public domain film from the US National Archives, slightly cropped to remove uneven edges, with the aspect ratio corrected, and one-pass brightness-contrast-color correction & mild video noise reduction applied. The soundtrack was also processed with volume normalization, noise reduction, clipping reduction, and/or equalization (the resulting sound, though not perfect, is far less noisy than the original).
